Glen P. Depeau

It is with heavy hearts that we lay to rest our beloved Brother, Uncle and Great Uncle, Glen P. Depeau, 75, died on Sunday Morning, January 16, 2022, in New Franken.

He was born January 29, 1946, in Champion, Wisconsin, to the late Cecil J. and Helen A. (Geurts) Depeau.

He was a graduate of Luxemburg High School, home of the Blue Jays.  He retired from Heat and Frost Insulators in Wisconsin, after 40 plus years.  Glen was a long- time member of Ducks Unlimited in Luxemburg.  His love to watch sports was never ending, the Packers, the Badgers, the Brewers, Nascar Racing and Golf.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends bowling and golfing along with lunch afterwards!  His beautiful yard was attributed to his love of flowers.

He is survived by two sisters, Judy Gilson, Donna (Mike) Jacobs, all of New Franken; five nieces and nephews, Dale (Renee) Depeau, Brian (Rachel) Depeau, Brenda Depeau, Mike (Amanda) Jacobs and Andy Jacobs; five great nieces and nephews, Miles, Rubie, Ryker, Addy and Lily.

He was preceded in death by his brother Gary Depeau and one brother-In-Law Leonard Gilson.

Friends may call between 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at St. Joseph Church, Champion.  Funeral 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church, with Rev. Carlo Villaluz officiating.  Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, Luxemburg is assisting the Depeau family.  www.mcmahonfh.com.

We would like to send a special “Thank You” to the staff at Anna’s House and Unity Hospice for all the kind care given to Glen.  You were all Angels sent to take care of Glen and family, Thank you so much.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Glen’s Name.
