You can enjoy a fun day with the family while supporting improvements at Bruemmer Park Zoo during the 15th annual Zoobilee Saturday, Sept. 26, in Kewaunee.
Proceeds from the annual event will support the construction of a new Environmental Education Center at the zoo, which is expected to provide additional facilities and educational opportunities for visitors to the park. “This year's donations will help build a new environmental education center including a new bathroom facility, a classroom and other amenities for people to use, it'll be a great addition to the park,” Kewaunee County Promotions and Recreation Director Dave Myers said.
Organized by the the Zoological Society of Kewaunee County, Zoobilee runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bruemmer Park Zoo in Kewaunee. The car show begins at 8 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m. You can also peruse an art and craft fair, check out the car show, participate in basket raffles and a silent auction, and enjoy live music.
