While people are becoming more open about addressing their own mental health concerns, Door County Medical Center Behavioral Health Coordinator Barb Johnson-Giese says there is still a negative stigma surrounding mental health. She hopes people are more open with sharing with what they are personally dealing with and that others are willing to listen.
Previewing the new DirectCare Clinic

On June 15th, Door County Medical Center will open its DirectCare clinic at the corner of State Highway 42/57 and Duluth Avenue. Oral Cancer Screenings with Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic

Making sure your mouth stays as healthy as it can be is the goal of a free oral cancer screening taking place at the Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic on Wednesday. Dentists will take a look at your mouth, tongue, and visible throat for signs of cancer and other precancerous conditions. Drs. Joan Fox and Dr. Sheila Agullana say when it comes to oral care, it is better to be proactive than reactive.
