Florida-born and Nashville-raised country artist Payton Sullivan is looking forward to the Midwest hospitality — and the cheese — when her tour stops at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Friday night.
Sullivan is making her Wisconsin debut while opening for Sugarland on a tour of more than 20 arenas across the United States. It comes within a week of signing her first publishing contract and releasing her new single, “F150,” as she works on her debut album with Sugarland’s Kristian Bush as a producer.
As a woman who found her voice singing Sugarland songs at karaoke before appearing on “The Voice,” it is all starting to feel real to Sullivan.
Wisconsin feels like a state she should have visited before, but Sullivan is looking forward to exploring cities like Green Bay when she performs.
Limited tickets are still available for Friday’s show at 7 p.m. Sugarland is making its fourth stop in Green Bay, but its first since 2018.
